TillSwitch was built around a simple idea: store teams deserve better tools than spreadsheets.
I started my hospitality management career at 17 years old, working across fast food restaurant environments where speed, consistency, and accountability mattered every shift. I learned quickly that store close is never just one task. It is a full routine that has to be done properly under pressure.
Over the years, I worked with and trained on all kinds of systems: spreadsheets, paper check sheets, and outdated software that was hard to use in real operations. I saw teams fighting process friction every day, not because they lacked effort, but because the tools were clunky, disconnected, and difficult to learn properly during training.
I also lived the training side of it. Learning complicated legacy systems while trying to run busy shifts creates stress, slows confidence, and increases the chance of mistakes. New starters and developing managers need workflows that are clear and practical, not confusing interfaces and scattered paperwork.
That is exactly why TillSwitch exists.
In real stores, closing means counting tills, checking safes, preparing banking, reviewing stock, tracking waste, completing checklists, and making sure everything lines up before the day ends. Most teams still rely on Excel sheets, paper checklists, or disconnected systems to get this done. It slows people down, creates errors, and makes it harder for managers to stay in control.
TillSwitch brings all of that into one place.
Instead of jumping between spreadsheets, notes, and systems, everything runs through a single workflow. Teams can count, check, review, and submit their end of day in a structured way that actually reflects how stores operate in the real world.
This isn’t accounting software. It’s operational software built from lived store experience.
TillSwitch is designed for:
- Shift managers closing the store under pressure
- Store managers responsible for accuracy and accountability
- Area managers who need visibility across multiple locations
- Business owners who want consistency across their teams
Every feature is built around one goal: reduce friction at the end of the day and make store operations clearer, faster, and more reliable.
This is not a faceless platform. TillSwitch is actively developed, improved, and shaped around real feedback from store environments, using practical lessons from hospitality operations and management training.
We’re building something that actually fits the way stores work.
